Blue Sunset

This piece was a special project made for a lovely client who wanted a custom tapestry for his home. The line work and shapes represent their journey together and meaningful memories made throughout. Letters that commemorate special people and their connection are made to stand out by adding textures that compliment the fluid lines in this piece. Hand woven on a floor loom with a beautiful natural linen warp and quality wool through the weft, hand embroidered elements were added to the tapestry for detail and dimension.
