I respectfully acknowledge this land on which I am is fortunate to work on. For thousands of years it has been the traditional land many nations including of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, the Metis and the Huron-Wendat peoples. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and I am grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land. I also acknowledge that Tkaronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit.
